By booking with Little Finch & Rainbow, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are designed to ensure the safety of all guests, protect our equipment, and provide a smooth and enjoyable hire experience.

1. Bookings & Payment

1.1 A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your booking.

Balloon services: 20% of the total booking value.

Soft play hire: £50 non-refundable booking fee.

1.2 Your booking is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.

1.3 The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days before your collection date, delivery date, or event setup date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.4 Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in your booking being cancelled, with the booking fee remaining non-refundable.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

2.1 All booking fees and deposits are non-refundable.

2.2 Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may still require payment in full due to preparation time, stock ordering, and reserved availability.

2.3 Cancellations due to exceptional or unforeseen circumstances may be reviewed at our discretion.

2.4 If Little Finch & Rainbow is unable to fulfil your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a refund of monies paid (excluding completed work or personalised items) will be issued where applicable.

3. Delivery, Setup & Collection

3.1 Clients must provide safe and suitable access for delivery, setup, and collection.

3.2 Adequate parking must be available wherever possible.

3.3 Setup and collection times will be agreed in advance.

3.4 Delays in venue access or restricted access may affect setup times and, where applicable, reduce the hire period.

3.5 Collection times must be adhered to unless otherwise agreed.

4. Mileage & Travel

4.1 Delivery is included within a 10-mile radius of our base.

4.2 Bookings outside this radius may incur an additional travel charge of:

£1.00 per mile (round trip) beyond the included radius; or

A fixed travel fee agreed at the time of booking, depending on location and booking size.

4.3 Any travel charges will always be confirmed before your booking is accepted.

5. Balloon Care & Outdoor Installations

To maximise the lifespan and appearance of your balloons:

Keep balloons indoors wherever possible.

Avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat, freezing temperatures, heavy rain, and strong winds.

Keep balloons away from sharp objects, rough surfaces, pets, and young children.

Balloon oxidation (a cloudy or matte appearance) is a natural process caused by exposure to air and sunlight and is not considered a fault.

5.1 Outdoor balloon displays are entirely at the client’s risk.

5.2 Weather conditions may significantly reduce the lifespan and appearance of balloon displays.

5.3 Little Finch & Rainbow reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or modify outdoor balloon installations where weather conditions are considered unsafe or likely to damage the display.

5.4 We cannot guarantee the longevity of balloons once they have been collected or installed.

6. Soft Play Equipment, Safety & Supervision

6.1 All soft play equipment, sensory items, décor, tables, props, and hired equipment must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

6.2 Little Finch & Rainbow does not provide supervision during any hire.

6.3 Once equipment has been installed and handed over, responsibility for supervision, safety, and appropriate use transfers entirely to the hirer.

6.4 Children must never be left unattended while using any equipment.

6.5 Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose.

6.6 The following are strictly prohibited on soft play equipment:

Shoes

Food or drink

Face paint

Glitter

Pens or markers

Sharp objects

Confetti or staining substances

6.7 Sensory items and tuff trays must always be used under adult supervision.

7. Health & Hygiene

7.1 All equipment is cleaned and sanitised before every hire.

7.2 Children who are unwell, particularly with vomiting, diarrhoea, or contagious illnesses, should not use the equipment.

7.3 Hand hygiene before play is encouraged.

7.4 Balloons can present a choking hazard. Children should always be supervised around balloons.

7.5 Broken balloons should be disposed of immediately.

8. Hired Equipment, Damage & Cleaning

8.1 All hired equipment remains the property of Little Finch & Rainbow.

8.2 The hirer accepts full responsibility for all equipment from the time of delivery until collection.

8.3 Standard cleaning is included within the hire price.

8.4 Additional charges may apply for excessive cleaning resulting from spillages, staining, food, glitter, face paint, mud, or any misuse.

8.5 The hirer is responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any equipment that is lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed during the hire period.

9. Design & Creative Flexibility

9.1 Balloon colours and materials may vary slightly depending on supplier availability.

9.2 Inspiration photographs are used as a guide only. While every effort will be made to create a similar design, exact replication cannot be guaranteed.

9.3 We reserve the right to make minor design adjustments where necessary to achieve the best overall finish.

10. Outdoor Hires

10.1 Outdoor balloon and soft play setups are subject to suitable weather conditions.

10.2 High winds, heavy rain, excessive heat, or other unsafe conditions may result in the setup being cancelled, postponed, or relocated.

10.3 Where possible, the hirer should provide a suitable indoor alternative.

11. Photography & Marketing

11.1 We may photograph completed setups for use on our website, social media pages, and other marketing materials.

11.2 If you do not wish your event to be photographed, you must notify us in writing before your event.

12. Liability

12.1 Responsibility for all balloons, soft play equipment, props, and hired items transfers to the hirer once installation has been completed or items have been collected.

12.2 Little Finch & Rainbow accepts no responsibility for:

Accidents or injuries occurring during the hire period.

Damage caused by misuse or negligence.

Balloon popping or deterioration after setup.

Weather-related damage.

Damage caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties.

12.3 The hirer accepts full responsibility for supervising all children and ensuring equipment is used safely throughout the hire period.

13. Booking Agreement

By paying your non-refundable booking fee or deposit, you confirm that you have:

Read these Terms & Conditions in full.

Understood and accepted all responsibilities outlined within them.

Accepted full responsibility for supervising children during the hire period.

Accepted responsibility for any loss, damage, misuse, or excessive cleaning of hired equipment.

Agreed that Little Finch & Rainbow is not liable for accidents, injuries, or incidents occurring once the equipment has been handed over.

No booking will be confirmed until the required booking fee has been received.
